Is there a minimum donation required to use your credit card or PayPal account?

No minimum donation is required. We accept any all donations.

Can I use my debit card instead of a credit card?

Yes, both credit and debit cards are accepted.

Do I need a PayPal account to use my credit card?

No, a PayPal account is not required to use your credit or debit card. We use PayPal to process our credit card transactions.  

How much is the transaction fee?

As with all companies that process electronic payments. PayPal charges a small fee for each transaction. The fee is calculated automatically. If you opt to pay the fee, then the full amount you intended to give to the Wonderful Options Fund will be donated. Otherwise, the fee will be deducted from your donation. Please note that the fee is lower for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations like Women of Fearrington than the normal business rate. Here are some recent fee examples:

·      $1.52 on a $50 donation

·       $2.53 on a $100 donation

·      $10.65 on a $500 donation

 Is it required that I cover the fees with my donations?

No, it’s up to you. We do, however, greatly appreciate help with the fees.

Can I change the amount of the fees I wish to cover?

No, the fees are automatically calculated and cannot be changed. You can, instead, adjust the amount of the donation.

What happens if I don’t cover the fees?

The fees are deducted from the donation. The remainder of the donation goes to the Wonderful Options Fund.

I made a mistake when entering the information but I haven’t clicked Donate Now yet.  How can I correct it?

At the bottom of each screen is a link Cancel and return to Women of Fearrington Inc. You can restart your donation entry.

What if I submitted my donation and I realize I made a mistake?

How will I know my donation went through?

You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal. Please keep it for your records.

How can I make an employer matching gift contribution?

Companies provide options for matching gifts contributions in different ways. Check with your employer/previous employer for details on the specific matching gifts process.
