Established in 2015, the Wonderful Options Fund gives members and other donors an easy way to provide food, shelter, respite and encouragement to women living at the margins. Your gift also bolsters the resilience and confidence of youngsters struggling with nutritional, learning and social disadvantages.

Check

To donate by check, please print the Wonderful Options form. Make your check payable to “Women of Fearrington” with "Wonderful Options Fund" on the memo line. Mail the form and check to 507 Fearrington Post, Pittsboro, NC 27312. Or drop it in the Women of Fearrington mailbox at the Swim & Croquet mail kiosk (adjacent to the Gathering Place). Please write "Wonderful Options" on the envelope. Advantage: Saves transaction processing fee, a tiny deduction from your contribution.

Credit Card

Women of Fearrington accepts donations via credit card. Our processing partner is PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use your credit card, but if you have a PayPal account you can opt to use it. Click here to make a secure online donation. Advantage: Convenient! No stamp, no envelope, no trip to the Gathering Place campus.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)

A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals age 70½ or older to make direct transfers from their traditional IRA(s) to qualified charities, up to a certain annual limit, without the funds being taxed as income. This can be a way to fulfill Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) while also supporting charity. If you make a QCD, please ask your financial institution to attach your name to the IRA donation so that we can associate the gift with you.
