Women of Fearrington is proud to award $60,737 in grants to nonprofit organizations serving women and children in Chatham County — the largest total in our history. This year brought a record number of applications, underscoring both the growing needs across the county and the remarkable dedication of the nonprofits working to meet them.
Thanks to the generosity of Fearrington Village neighbors, donors, and sponsors, we were able to respond with our strongest support yet. Contributions to the Wonderful Options Fund, participation in the Holiday Bakery & Market, event attendance, license plate purchases, year‑round program involvement, and sponsor support all played a vital role.
A standout moment was this year’s Estate Sale, which provided an exceptional boost to our fundraising efforts. And as always, our volunteers — whose time, talent, and heart power everything we do — remain at the center of our success. It truly takes a Village.
This year’s grants fund programs in literacy, education, food security, health services, youth development, and family support. These organizations make a tangible difference every day, and we are honored to help advance their work
