Grant Process
The Women of Fearrington will accept applications for its 2021-2022 grant program by May 3, 2022. All applications must focus on women and/or children in Chatham County.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Women of Fearrington is to enrich the lives of its members socially, culturally and intellectually, and to help serve the needs of the women and children of Chatham County.
GRANT ELIGIBITLITY AND CRITERIA
To be considered for a grant, an organization MUST:
Provide certification of current 501(c)(3) status
Demonstrate that its program serves women and/or children in Chatham County
Have a project budget that does not include fixed expenses i.e. staff salaries, buildings cost, rent or utilities.
Organizations seeking WoF support:
May apply for a one - year grant
Must expend all grant funds within a 12- month period
Must submit a final report at the conclusion of the grant cycle

GRANT REVIEW PROCESS
The Grant Committee carefully reads and evaluates every grant application to ensure they have met the qualifications. Using objective criteria, the Committee decides on individual organizations funding. Every organization that submits an application will receive written notification of the decision.
