GRANT TIMELINE 2023
WOMEN OF FEARRINGTON MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Women of Fearrington is to enrich the lives of its members socially, culturally, and intellectually and to help serve the needs of the women and children of Chatham County.
GRANT ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA
To be considered for a grant, an organization must:
Provide proof of certification of current 501(c)(3) status.
Have a project budget that does not include fixed expenses (i.e., salaries for staff not devoted to the project, building costs, rent, or utilities).
Propose a project that is feasible to implement and complete within a one-year grant cycle.
Note: Applicants that have received a grant from the Women of Fearrington during the previous grant cycle must have submitted timely reports.
Organizations Seeking Women of Fearrington Support:
May submit only one grant proposal per grant cycle.
Must expend all grant funds within a 12-month period.
Must submit a final report at the conclusion of the grant cycle (Final Report Template). If the project has not started during the first six months of the grant cycle an interim report is required (Interim Report Template).
GRANT APPLICATION SUBMISSION
The deadline for 2023 Grant Application Submissions has passed.
APPLICATION EVALUATION AND GRANT DECISION PROCESS
This is a competitive process that may have more demand for funds than available funds.
Each application will be evaluated, scored, and ranked using objective criteria in a standard scoring matrix.
Applications will be evaluated on what is shown in the grant application (there is no in-person presentation).
Women of Fearrington decisions on grant awards are final.
