GRANT TIMELINE
Women of Fearrington Grant Applications Open April 1
Women of Fearrington (WoF) announces that the 2026–2027 grant cycle opens April 1, 2026,
with applications accepted through April 30, 2026. Electronic applications will be available on
the WoF website beginning April 1. Members are encouraged to recommend organizations for
consideration.
Eligibility requirements:
Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and able to provide a tax determination letter from the IRS
Project must directly benefit women and/or children (up to age 18) in Chatham County.
Project must be completed within one grant cycle, with all WoF funds expended during that period.
Organizations funded in the 2025–2026 cycle must have submitted their final report. (Final Report Template).

GRANT APPLICATION SUBMISSION
APPLICATION EVALUATION AND GRANT DECISION PROCESS
This is a competitive process that may have more demand for funds than available funds.
Each application will be evaluated, scored, and ranked using objective criteria in a standard scoring matrix.
Applications will be evaluated on what is shown in the grant application (there is no in-person presentation).
Women of Fearrington decisions on grant awards are final.
